Rayleigh

The Rayleigh-Weir Greyhound & Speedway Stadium was built in 1948 ran a dozen F1 meetings between 1957 and 1959.

Spedeworth had a brief tenure before BriSCA returned in 1967 with a solitary F1 meeting that was abandoned due to weather and the track conditions, and also the F2 World Final, which included Dutch, French, and South African entrants.

Local driver Chick Woodroffe brought F1s back for the 1972 season.

The stadium was demolished in 1974, and is now the site of Stadium Way Retail Park.
