Willie Harrison was leading the Grand Prix going into the last round, but suffered a broken leg when he was hit by a trailer in the pits before the meeting.
During an incident in Heat 4, metal fragments flew into the crowd and hit some spectators, which sadly resulted in John Simons from County Durham losing his life.
