This was a Senior/Junior charity event in aid of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. The Consolation was cancelled owing to lack of cars. During the Final, Ellis Ford shoved Chick Woodroffe wide resulting in him being knocked out after hitting the fence hard. Fights broke out amongst the star drivers as Chick was loaded into an ambulance. All calmed down soon enough and Chick himself came out in the Junior Final and won it!
