"The car belonged to Peter Carter and Len Brumpton. I was mechanic for Bert Finnikin at the time and Peter was a sponsor of Bert's. I raced it a few times as Peter and Len found driving wasn't their thing. Pete Lyford mechaniced for me and raced it once."
