Stoxnet's Driver of the Day voting takes place after each meeting during the season. Stoxnet forum members discuss each meeting's racing and nominate their "Driver of the Day" during the week after a meeting. At the end of each week, Chris53 tots up the number of votes for each driver to determine the driver who was voted "Stoxnet Driver of the Day".
The Stoxnet Driver of the Year is simply the driver who was voted "Driver of the Day" more times during the season than anyone else, and so, in the Stoxnet forum membership's opinion, is the best performing and/or most entertaining driver of the year.

2006's Stoxnet Driver of the Year, based upon numbers of Meeting "won" would have been 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr with six wins, from 391 Andy Smith and 53 John Lund with two wins each but the award. However, given the voting only ran through the second half of the Season, it is maybe a bit unfair to declare a winner for 2006, so lets regard that as a practice run.
