• How long does my Supporter Status last?
  • The Supporter year runs from November to November each year, and all payments relate to the balance of the current Supporter year. Don’t join in October!
     
• Why are there no free Supporter ‘gifts’ in 2008?
  • There never were any ‘free’ gifts – they were paid for by Daniel out of his own pocket! We have pledged that any surplus funds will be donated to the Trust Fund from 2008 onwards, and we just cannot justify spending any Supporter income on gifts and potentially robbing the Trust Fund of income. We hope Supporters will understand and agree with this change.
     
• So what do I get for being a Supporter?
• The knowledge that you are personally helping to keep the best F1 Forum there has ever been, alive and thriving into the future, with a Logo by your name to prove it.
  
  Supporters also have additional Personal Message capacity, and may at times be asked to give an opinion on issues key to the future of the Forum, just as they were asked for their view when Daniel decided he did not wish to continue with the forum.
   
• Are you not offering stoxnet.com e-mail addresses to Stoxnet Supporters this year?
• If you really want one, you can have one. Experience from last year suggests they were not popular – only a few were ever opened, and all have since been closed down through lack of use.
   
• Stoxnet seems to have lots of Rules, and Guidelines – do they apply to Supporters?
• They most certainly do. We want to be fair to ALL our members, so let us be very clear on this one – becoming a Supporter does not buy freedom to abuse the rules.
   
• What if I break the rules, and get suspended – can I have my money back?
• No! It’s your own fault for breaking the rules which 99% of our members quite happily live by. Look upon it as a fine.
   
• What exactly are we paying for, and what do you mean by ‘surplus’ to be donated to the Trust Fund?
• Supporter income will be used to pay for forum software licences and support,  forum hosting costs and bank/Paypal fees or charges. We will do all we reasonably can to keep these to a minimum. The surplus will be simply Supporter income, less these costs.
   
• I have some other questions – who should I ask about them?
• E-mail them to admin@stoxnet.com, and we’ll answer them as quickly as we can. We will also add appropriate ones to this Q & A.
