The Stoxnet photo galleries are available to anyone without having to sign into the forum or even to be a member, and they are almost certainly the largest collection of BriSCA Formula One photographs online: at the start of the 2006 season there was in excess of 9,000 photos already online.
You can upload your own photos
Any member of the Stoxnet forum can upload their own photos - either to a personal gallery (perhaps you want to build a collection of photos of World Champions, a collection of your favourite drivers, or photos of interesting suspension configurations, wheel colours - anything that takes your fancy), or to the shared public galleries which are created for each meeting as the season progresses.
The 2006 season has now kicked off, and the first gallery has been added. You can add your photos to the gallery now - and the rest of this page guides you through the easy steps to getting your photos online.
- To upload your own photos to the Stoxnet photo galleries, first make sure that you are signed in to the forum, and then head for the Upload page in the gallery.

- Photos can be up to 3200x3200 pixels in physical size - that's just over 6 megapixels. Filesizes are limited to 1.8 megabytes - plenty if you have a 1, 2 or 3 megapixel camera so you can just upload the photos straight from your camera.
If you have a 4, 5 or 6 megapixel camera and have set it to take 'high' quality (low compression) photos your files will be too large for the gallery to accept, but you can easily resize them using a free Microsoft tool which will take less than a minute to install and just seconds to resize batches of photos. You can read more about resizing photos on the Stoxnet guide to resizing photos page.
- To begin uploading your pictures, click the 'Browse' button on the Upload page to point the website at the specific photos you'd to upload from your hard disc to the gallery. You can upload 10 photos at a time. Click Continue when you have selected either the first 10 photos you want to upload, or if you're doing less than 10, when you've done them all.

- Wait while the photos you have selected are uploaded: this step could take several minutes. Once complete, you'll be given a 'Successful Uploads' confirmation. You're not done yet! Click Continue.
If you get an error which says "0 uploads were sucessful" or "Pixel allowance exceeded", the file you tried to upload was probably too big - the Stoxnet guide to resizing photos page tells you how you can easily resize all of your photos to make them smaller.

- You'll now be shown a thumbnail of each photo you've uploaded, one by one, and will be able to select which Album you'd like to add the picture to. There will be a pulldown menu listing recent meetings - select the meeting that you have photos for. If you have photos for a meeting which doesn't appear in the pulldown menu, please contact Daniel and he can enable the uploads for the album you need.
Optionally, you can also add text descriptions of your photos. If you have time to do this, it is always appreciated by members who later want to be able to search for photos of specific cars, tracks or drivers.
Click Continue after each photo until you have processed them all.

- That's it - your photos will be now online: visit the gallery now to admire your work, and let everyone in the forum know that your pictures are there for everyone to see!!
