When you are posting a new message or adding a reply to an existing one, you will see the file attachments option. This allows you to upload a file as an attachment to your message.

Click the browse button to select a file from your computer to be uploaded.

If you upload an image file, it will be shown just beneath the typed content of your post. If your picture is bigger than 350x350 pixels, a smaller 'thumbnail' copy of the picture will be added instead - and viewers will be able to click the thumbnail to see the larger photo.

"Members" of the forum are able to upload files of upto 250 KB in size as attachments. There is no upper limit for "Supporters" but individual files over 2 megabytes are unlikely to upload successfully.

If you are not a Supporter and have a photo you'd like to share which is bigger than 250 KB, you can:

• upload it to the gallery provided that it is under 1.8MB and 3200x3200 pixels in size. The bottom half of this message explains how you could do this in more detail
• resize the photo so that it's less than 250KB
