The quickest and easiest way to get in touch with a forum member is by "PM" or "Personal Message". A PM is a message sent through the forum directly to a specific member. Your message won't appear on the public forum and you'll be able to hold a private conversation with your fellow member by each replying to the other's PM.

To send a PM, you first need to know the member's username. If you have seen a message on the public forum by the person you'd like to contact, click the PM button beside their name. Provided you're logged in, you'll be taken to a new screen where you need to enter just a subject and a message before pressing Submit. The other person will receive an email or a popup message next time they sign into the forum to let them know that they have a new message waiting for them.

If you know the member's username, you can go directly to the Compose New Message page and enter their name in the top box.

If you don't know the member's username, you can search for it in the member list. The member list, accessed via the 'Members' link at the top of each page, is basically a listing of all of the members that have registered on the board. 
 
If you are looking to search for a particular member by all/part of their username, then in the drop down box at the bottom of the page, change the selection from 'Search All Available' to 'Name Begins With' or 'Name Contains' and input all/part of their name in the text input field and press the 'Go!' button. 
 
Also, at the bottom of the member list page, there are a number of sorting options available to alter the way in which the list is displayed. 
 
If a member has chosen to add a photo to their profile information, then a camera icon will appear next to their name, and you may click this to view the photo.
